Who we are

IVAR Studios AB ("we", "us") is a Swedish company based in Stockholm. We operate the website ivar.studio. Our data controller is Fredrik Edström (fredrik@ivar.studio).

What data we collect

We collect very little data. Specifically:

  • Contact form: When you submit our contact form, your name, email address and message are sent to us by email. We do not store this data in a database - it exists only in our email inbox.
  • Theme preference: We save your light/dark mode preference in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and is not sent to our servers.

We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking cookies, or any third-party data collection tools.

Embedded content

Some project pages embed videos from YouTube (via youtube-nocookie.com) or Vimeo. These embeds do not set cookies until you interact with the video player. Once you play a video, YouTube or Vimeo may collect data according to their own privacy policies.

Cookies

This website does not set any cookies. We use browser localStorage for your theme preference only, which is not a cookie and is never transmitted to any server.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Request access to any personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY)
